Lourdes Swimmers Cherish Season

This is not a story on championship season or school records being broken. It’s about girls swimmers from Our Lady of Lourdes High School being grateful for the opportunity to compete during a pandemic when another school opened its pool for the Warriors to call home.

Bosse Chooses Xavier

Clare Bosse, a senior swimmer at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, signed a National Letter of Intent to swim at Xavier University on Friday.

Boose holds seven of the eight girls individual swimming records at Lourdes and four pool records at Poughkeepsie Middle School, where Lourdes swims its home meets.

Bosse is a six-time state finalist, eight-time Section 1 finalist and one-time Section 1 champion. She qualified for the state swimming and diving championship meet in all four years at Lourdes.
