Cardinal Hayes High School graduate Christian Anderson ran for career-best 236 yards and two touchdowns in leading Army to a 23-10 football victory over Miami (Ohio) on Saturday.
Anderson, who averaged 15.7 yards per carry and scored touchdowns on runs of 75 and 72 yards to give Army a 14-3 lead, left the game with an injury. His status for Saturday’s game at Ball State is uncertain.
In Saturday’s win over Miami (Ohio), the senior quarterback topped 100 rushing yards for the second time this season and scored the 11th and 12th touchdowns of his collegiate career. His 236 rushing yards ranks him sixth on Army’s all-time list for rushing yards in a single game.
