Nineteen boys basketball players from Catholic high schools in the archdiocese received all-state honors from the New York State Sportswriters Association.
Senior R.J. Davis led the honorees by being named Class AA co-player of the year after averaging 26.5 points per game for Archbishop Stepinac. He’s signed to play at the University of North Carolina next season.
