The New York State Public High School Athletic Association has cancelled the remainder of its winter sports state tournaments, the NYSPHSAA announced Monday.
The NYSPHSAA was in the middle of state regional tournaments for boys and girls basketball, state semifinals for ice hockey and boys and girls bowling state tournaments.
The Ursuline School won the Section 1 Class AA championship, and was scheduled to play Monroe-Woodbury in a state regional semifinal when the playoffs were suspended.
