Baseball Miracles Off to Maryland

Baseball Miracles, Inc., announced it will be holding two free baseball clinics for undeserved but deserving children in Baltimore and Bowie, Md., Aug. 21-24.

Alex Agostino, a scout for the Philadelphia Phillies and Baseball Miracles volunteer, will serve as the field coordinator for both clinics.

The Bowie clinic will be at Prince George’s Stadium from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 22. Following the clinic, Baseball Miracles volunteers will be doing a community service project at Sarah’s House, a homeless shelter.

Kids from the Bowie clinic will receive a free ticket to see the Bowie Baysox game Aug. 22. The Baysox are the Eastern League Class AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.

The Baltimore clinic will be at Eddie Murray Field from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 23.
