Our Lady of Lourdes High School’s Jaheim Jones sprinted to state federation championships in the 100- and 200-meter dashes at Middletown High School June 7 and 8.
The senior ran to times of 10.76 seconds in the 100 and 21.13 in the 200.
Earlier in the day, Jones won the 100 in 10.60 and 200 in 21.19 at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Division 2 championships.
Jones set school records in both events at the meet and also anchored the school’s 1,600 relay that placed second in the public high school division 2 championships. Jones teamed with Aiden Reilly, Safo Kirton and Nick Timm in running to a time of 3:21.51.
