St. Raymond, Cardinal Hayes Lead CHSAA in New York State Polls

St. Raymond and Cardinal Hayes are ranked second and third, respectively, in this week’s New York State Sportswriters Association Class AA boys basketball poll.

Both teams completed the regular season with 19-5 overall and 14-3 league records. The two teams split their regular-season meetings, and St. Raymond won 19 of 20 games before losing its season finale to Msgr. Scanlan.

In Class A, Fordham Prep and Msgr. Farrell are 11th and 12th, respectively.
