Monsignor Farrell finished second with 94 points to lead the archdiocese at the CHSAA Intersectional Boys Cross Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on Saturday.
Archbishop Molloy of Queens won the meet with 61 points. St. Anthony’s, Long Island, was third with 105 points, followed by Xavier of Manhattan with 117.
Xavier’s Oliver Branham-Upton was the top finisher from the archdiocese, placing third in a time of 13 minutes, 3.2 seconds on the 2.5-mile course.
Iona Prep’s Brendan Mulvany and Fordham Prep’s Eamonn Sullivan were fifth and sixth, respectively. Msgr. Farrell teammates Christopher Paxis and Andrew Rainbolt were eighth and ninth, followed by Iona Prep’s Pedro Bravo in 10th place.
