CHSAA Championship Doubleheader Scheduled at Fordham University

Fordham University will be the site of two CHSAA intersectional boys basketball championship games on Friday night.

In the opener, top seed La Salle meets third seed Regis for the B Division title at 6:30 p.m. La Salle is the defending state federation champion and is coming off a 49-48 victory over Moore Catholic on Sunday. Regis defeated Sacred Heart, 59-42, in its semifinal.

In the second game, top seed Nazareth plays second seed Fordham Prep for the A Division championship at 8:30. Nazareth escaped its semifinal with a 38-36 win over St. Joseph by the Sea. and Fordham Prep tipped Msgr. Farrell, 46-41, in its semifinal.

The winners will advance to the Catholic high school state tournament.
